Notre Dame Announces Centennial Campaign

Athol Murray College of Notre Dame
Almost 100 years ago, The Sisters of Charity of St. Louis began a school known as Our Lady of the Prairies. In 1927, they were joined by Fr. Athol Murray, who brought a bold dream to life in an improbable place – Wilcox, Saskatchewan. The result of this bold dream is what we today call Athol Murray College of Notre Dame - one of Canada’s most remarkable and celebrated educational institutions.

Notre Dame is committed to continuing Pere’s dream by delivering an outstanding, integrated educational experience through Mind, Body, Spirit and Community life. Notre Dame is charting a courageous path forward that continues the legacy of the past, recognizes the accomplishments and challenges of the present and lays the hope and foundation for Notre Dame’s next century.

As the President of this “one of a kind” school, I am proud to announce the launch of  Notre Dame’s Centennial Campaign.

As many Hounds know, we are continuously trying to be the “Best version of ourselves”. Today, Notre Dame continues that journey to strive to be the Best. Part of reaching this goal is to have the necessary means to assist our students and staff.

The heart of our Centennial Campaign will be a new academic building, a $20 Million Dollar facility known as the Centre of Excellence for Teaching and Learning.

The Centre for Excellence for Teaching and Learning will provide the physical space where the academic mission and vision of offering 21st-century education is taken to a new level.

By employing the latest technology, incorporating the best pedagogical practices and providing flexible spaces with abundant natural light, the new Centre of Excellence will invite students to take greater ownership for their learning. We are confident that our students will respond with character by making something great of their education and their life.

It is our belief that this new facility will allow our staff, to continue to assist our students in their journey and discovery of truth and knowledge of the various themes that they will be studying.   In short, it is our belief that the Centre of Excellence for Teaching and learning will better inspire and prepare our young men and women to fulfil their responsibilities as a human person and in turn should make them a better student, a better friend, a better leader, a better citizen and a better Hound …because free people do.

To accomplish our goal the College will need 100 percent participation from the entire Hound family and community. No Gift is too small and certainly, No gift is too large.

This is Notre Dame’s campus for the next 100 years; please help us take the next bold step by supporting our  Centennial Campaign

IT STARTS NOW!
