The Notre Dame Hounds are known internationally for their athletic achievements.
Countless Hounds have advanced to post-secondary, amateur and pro-ranks over the years, thanks largely to the College's commitment to developing the whole athlete - on and off the ice/court/playing field. In 2006 alone, Notre Dame Hounds were awarded more than $1.6 million in athletic and academic scholarships to U.S. and Canadian universities.

All high school sports teams excel at Notre Dame and provide equal post-secondary opportunities. Notre Dame teams have tallied league and provincial championship titles in football, rugby, lacrosse, basketball, volleyball, soccer, baseball, badminton and golf, with a number of athletes advancing to post-secondary and Team Canada ranks. It is interesting to note that athletes who come to Wilcox to 'specialize' in a particular sport, often find they excel at another!

Athletes at Notre Dame receive the benefits of elite training through state-of-the-art facilities and high calibre instruction. The College boasts an Olympic-size indoor ice rink, an on-site Frappier Acceleration program, a university calibre weight and cardio training centre, a fully equipped gymnasium and various sports fields.
