Stephane Gauvin named new principal at Notre Dame

Athol Murray College of Notre Dame is pleased to announce that Stephane Gauvin ’88 will be joining our academics team as the College's new principal, effective for the start of the 2023-2024 academic year.

Graduating as a Hound in 1988, Stephane obtained his degree at Cornell and Masters at Sacred Heart University. Stephane has been working in Moose Jaw for the past 24 years in various teaching and administrative roles, including the last 6 years as Principal at Central Collegiate where he also served as the Vice Principal for 4 years. Stephane believes in a team approach, and his leadership strength is in empowering others to achieve their best.

Stephane will start with us this summer after he finishes his duties at Central Collegiate. He’s excited to come back home to Notre Dame and contribute as part of an excellent team to help our students grow and achieve their success.
