Hounds Win Kiwanis Bowl with a 1 Point Rouge with 1 Second left!

After an 0-5 start to the season, the Notre Dame Hounds Senior Football Team won their last three games to secure the Kiwanis Bowl Championship! In a thrilling four quarter game, the Notre Dame Hounds were found trailing the Thom Collegiate Trojans by a score of 28-14 entering the fourth quarter. With 5 minutes left in the game, senior quarterback Isaac Sandomirsky, senior receiver Shol Ayach, and the strong Notre Dame defence put the team on their backs to tie the game up with two late touchdowns and a clutch 2 pt conversion with less than 2 minutes to play. with the game knotted up at 28-28, the Hounds defence made a clutch stop to force the Trojans to punt the ball away with under a minute left in the game. After a great return by Shol Ayach, the Hounds were set up at the 20 yard line to punt it through the end zone for a single point for the win. Ayach punted it into the end zone, but the Trojans caught it and punted it back out. Ayach caught the ball and returned it to the Trojans 5 yard line, setting up another attempt at a punt. Ayach had another shot at the punt and made the rouge!
