Celebration of Life for Ian "Scotty" McLellan '56 & '59

The College extends its condolences to the family and friends of Ian "Scotty" Duncan McLellan who was born on April 7, 1938 and passed away on March 31, 2025.

 

At the age of 14, Scotty followed his brother to Notre Dame College in Wilcox.  He told his family that he was glad to do the required chores (while at Notre Dame) because he was so grateful to be there. He attended ND for four years and graduated with a high school diploma in 1956.  He stayed for an additional 3 years and graduated in 1959 with a Bachelor of Arts degree.  Scotty attended law school at Dalhousie University in Halifax before pursuing a career in law in Saskatchewan.  He was a judge for over thirty years, loved his family, enjoyed golf and was humbled by his life experiences.  During his years at Notre Dame and throughout his life, Scotty made an impact on those around him.  Please keep Scotty and the McLellan family in your prayers.

Scotty's Celebration of Life will be on Thursday, June 26th, 2:00pm at the Wascana Golf and Country Club in Regina, SK.
