Dr. Charles Skipper appointed as College's Interim President

On behalf of the Board of Regents of the Athol Murray College of Notre Dame, I am pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Charles Skipper as the Interim President of the school effective August 15, 2023. After a very exhaustive recruitment process which yielded several highly qualified candidates, the search committee selected Dr. Skipper based upon his extensive experience leading academic boarding schools in several international locations.

His expertise includes the management of diverse leadership teams, academic programming, student and staff recruitment, the development of strategic plans, fundraising to support capital projects, public advocacy for the institution and acting as the chief ambassador for the school within the broader academic community.

Charlie has met with the leadership team at Notre Dame during his extensive campus tour and there is broad agreement that he is an excellent communicator, has a collaborative management style and represents the right cultural fit for Notre Dame. Please join me in welcoming Charlie to the Notre Dame family. I know he welcomes the opportunity to get to know all of our stakeholders (staff, students, parents, Wilcox residents, supports of the school) well over the coming months.
