Passing of Jeff Yanko ‘88

The College extends its condolences to the family and friends of Jeff Yanko, who passed away on April 30, 2022 at the age of 52. Obituary

 

Jeff was a devoted family man, and a loyal and active Hound. He attended Notre Dame graduating with the class of 1988. As a member of the Junior A Hounds hockey team, he proudly donned the red and white. Jeff’s career included numerous years in the oil and gas sector and he also worked as the Director of Development and Alumni at Notre Dame in 2018-2019. While working at Notre Dame, Jeff also took on the role of assistant coach with the U18 AAA Argos hockey team.

 

The Hound family unites its heart with Jeff’s wife Kathie and their three children, Jamie, Bryn and Evyn. We also grieve with Jeff's parents Ron & Bobbi Yanko and brother Scott.

 

Jeff will be greatly missed by the Notre Dame, St. Augustine and Wilcox communities and far beyond. Please pray for the repose of Jeff’s soul and for Kathie and all of the Yanko family.
