Schedule for 2018 Graduation FRIDAY, JUNE 22 5:00 PM Holy Mass, St. Augustine Church (Graduate and two guests, unless you booked more through Rob Krueger)
Graduates will not be allowed to leave campus on Friday until following Mass, as they will be required for rehearsal and dorm clean up. The graduates will be having a BBQ at 3:00PM, guests are allowed on campus anytime following 3:30PM. SATURDAY, JUNE 23 2:30 PM Commencement, Kenney Hall Gymnasium. No Ticket Required, Seating is first come first serve. Please have your graduate on campus no later then 1:30PM.
6:00 PM Grand March & Banquet, Duncan McNeill Arena (Doors Open at 5:30PM, Pre-Purchased Tickets Only, Seating is assigned)
*There will not be enough time for graduates to return to Regina prior to the Banquet. Please ensure gowns are brought with them in the morning or dropped off Friday on Campus in Kenney Hall. Dress Code: Business Attire Parking: Available on Campus OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Graduation Banquet As you know, tickets have already been purchased for the banquet, you will not be receiving actual physical tickets for the banquet. Tables are pre-arranged and you will be given your seating at the door. The banquet is full and no more tickets are available at this point.
Wheelchair Access For the Banquet Any guests to the Notre Dame Graduation who require Wheelchair access to the banquet, can be brought onto the ice surface via the Zamboni door, located on the back side of the rink. Please see Dawn Froats on Friday or Saturday to let her know you are in need of accommodation for your guest.
Tuxedo Rentals Graduates whom have Tuxedo Rentals at Venice Tailors, all tuxedo's will be ready for pickup and payment at that location Friday before 6:00 p.m. or Saturday morning after 9:00 a.m. Dawn Froats will collect all tuxedo's and shoes, following the Banquet in the Arena Lobby and ensure they are returned to the location Monday. Venice Taylors is located at 4625 Albert St #4, Regina.
Storage for Female Grad Gowns for the Banquet Kenney Hall Classroom K3 (upstairs) will be open with dress racks for the girls to bring their dresses and other requirements for the banquet. If any of the girls have their dress on campus prior to Saturday, they can contact me and we can store it in the locked classroom, to avoid having to transport it back into the city.
Road Construction On Highway 6 Currently there is road construction happening on Highway 6 from Regina to Wilcox. Please expect delays and give yourself enough travel time.
No Alcohol, Drugs or Tobacco On Campus There will be no alcohol, drugs or Tobacco allowed on campus at anytime during the graduation ceremonies. We asked that you respect this request.
After Grad Party(s) The College or staff are in no way affiliated or participate in any After Graduation Parties that are being held by our students and families. Friday, June 22, following mass, graduates are the sole responsibility of their parents & guardians.
Flowers Arrangements There are several locations that can create your graduates corsages and boutonnières. For the students who purchased them already through Wascana Flower Shoppe they will be delivered to campus on Saturday, June 22nd and ready for pick up following Commencement.
If you still are in need of a Corsage or Boutonnières, here are a few locations that have created them for our graduates in previous years. However, this is not a requirement for graduation:
