Stanley Wormsbecker Memorial Bursary
Stanley Wormsbecker attended Athol Murray College of Notre Dame in the late 1940's to early 1950's completing high school and university education. It was here that he experienced profound faith formation under the guidance of Père. He was educated in accounting and did municipal accounting in southern Saskatchewan. Being an entrepreneur at heart, and wanting to work with his hands, he owned and operated residential and commercial companies. He was well known for his work ethic in the construction business for 50 years.
Stan kept in touch with other Notre Dame Hounds throughout the years. He was a proud Notre Dame Hound. He spoke fondly of the camaraderie he shared with all his friends. Through planned giving, Stanley desired a bursary endowment fund created in his name to be awarded annually to a student of Athol Murray College of Notre Dame. Stanley passed away in October 2022 but his legacy will be remembered through this generous gift.
The Stanley Wormsbecker Memorial Bursary was established to support a hardworking student with academic excellence combined with solid moral values and demonstrating financial need.
