The College is excited to announce Craig Perrett as our new Female Hockey Coordinator. Craig will begin his new position June 1, 2018.
Craig has been involved in hockey for many years first as a player in the SJHL with the Melfort Mustangs and then onto the NCAA with Michigan Tech University, then as a coach, a coach mentor and an administrator. Craig has been coaching hockey for over 15 years, mostly at the elite levels in the Bantam AAA and Midget AAA leagues in the male stream in Alberta. He recently crossed over to the female stream and has been the Assistant Coach at Mount Royal University in the Canada West Division of USport for the past two seasons. Last year, Craig served as the Head Coach for Team Alberta in the Female U18 program where they participated at the U18 National Event in Quebec City. Most recently, Craig has been chosen to be part of the coaching staff for Team Alberta’s U18 Female Team that will participate in the 2019 Canada Winter Games in Red Deer, AB.
Craig is currently employed as the Director of Coaching and Development at Pinnacle Hockey Development in Calgary where he manages the Female Development Program, as well as the Coach Mentorship Program for the Glenlake Hockey Association, that manages over 50+ coaches throughout the season. Craig’s background in coaching, as a hockey administrator and his experience in player & coach development will be a great fit with our Notre Dame Hockey Program.
