2025 -2026 Prep Basketball Preseason Opener in Calgary

The Prep Hounds opened the 2025-26 Preseason in a matchup with LV Orange, a team from Las Vegas, Nevada, USA at the Edge International Invitational.  The Americans raced out to a 20 point lead in the first quarter as the Hounds had a stretch of bad luck, combined with some 1st game nerves. The senior led crew from Wilcox settled in during the second half, and the game became competitive as both teams played a physical shootout. 

Seniors Severyn Ferrara Horne led the Hounds  with some difficult 3 point shooting, and our point guard duo of Maya Francisco and Mya Regier had a good showing during this season opening game that ended in a 71-42 win for the American squad.
