Froats’99 Awarded Outstanding Individual Volunteer Philanthropy Award

Athol Murray College of Notre Dame
Congratulations to Hound & Notre Dame’s current Director of Marketing, Communications and Enrolment Strategy - Dawn Froats’99 on her Outstanding Individual Volunteer Philanthropy Award as given by the South Sask Association of Fundraising Professionals at their 2019 National Philanthropy Day Awards & Luncheon held on November 12, 2019.

Testimonial from Della Ferguson – Journey to Hope Moose Jaw Chairperson

Dawn Froats is making a difference ... putting her gifts, talents and great big heart on the line to raise awareness and funds. When it comes to passion, determination, support, community spirit and being a role model, Dawn Froats comes to mind. Dawn witnessed the profound loss of people in her life from Suicide; she saw the stigma surrounding mental illness, and Dawn stepped up to do her part in breaking through the stigma and supporting her friends in their losses. With a drive to make a difference, fuelled by a heart that’s unstoppable, Dawn has singlehandedly raised over $15,000 for Journey to Hope Moose Jaw Inc. in her back to back #MakeFroatsRow campaigns.

Dawn had Grade 12 students Sadie Turning Robe’20 & Jack Nestor’20 join her at the event.

Congratulations to Dawn on this incredible & well deserved recognition.
