Maloney'74 & Harazny Join Notre Dame Development Office

Athol Murray College of Notre Dame - President's Office
As Athol Murray College of Notre Dame begins our 100th year, the College would like to inform you of some important changes that have occurred in our Development Office.

We have bid farewell to Jeff Yanko’88 as our Director of Development who has decided to return to the private sector. The College would like to thank Jeff for his contributions and good work that he accomplished as the Director of Development.

We are happy to announce the addition of two individuals who will assist the College with our fundraising initiatives.

The College welcomes Dave Harazny as our new Director of Development and Alumni Relations. Dave will begin his position on August 12, 2019. Dave's main responsibility will be to oversee the College's Annual Fundraising Campaign while managing the Development & Alumni Team.

“We are excited to have Dave become a member of the College’s Leadership Team, as he brings over 14 years of professional experience in the education and fundraising sector”
College President, Rob Palmarin.

Dave has spent the last 14 years with Southeast College in Weyburn, currently as their Manager of College Advancement. His primary role was to oversee the annual fundraising and stewardship for Southeast College Foundation’s Student Awards program, including donor relations, sponsorship and special events management.  Dave’s family ties with Notre Dame are extensive. Dave is the husband to Notre Dame Hound Andrea Harazny’98 (Creurer) and son-in-law to Dave’69 & Terry Creurer’71 (Diekrager), as well as brother-in-law’s – Troy’93 & Damien’96 Creurer. Dave is a graduate from the University of Regina with a Degree in Business Administration with a Marketing Specialization and he holds a Certificate in Fundraising Management from Ryerson University.

The College welcomes Dave, Andrea and their 3 children to the Notre Dame community.

The College also welcomes back Tim Maloney’74 as our Centennial Campaign Director. Tim, who is a co-partner with emergo philanthropy, has been a professional fundraiser for over 30 years. Tim has delivered numerous projects for organizations such as Mercy Ships Canada, Glenlyon Norfolk School and United Way of Regina & Victoria.  During his time as the Director of Alumni Affairs and Advancement at the College, before leaving in 2000, Tim assisted the College to raise funds for the building of the Fred Hill & Max Bell Dormitory Link, Doc Seaman Hall, Mother Teresa Hall and the Gerry Maier Fitness Centre in Kenny Hall.

As a graduate of the Notre Dame Arts Program, Tim is very familiar with the philosophy and teachings of Father Athol Murray (Père) and is also well known throughout the Hound community.
“We are very excited to have both Dave and Tim join our team and assist us with our critical fundraising initiatives so that we can continue to deliver the Notre Dame Vision and Mission to our students as we celebrate our 100th year.”
Chairman of the Board of Regents, Mo Bundon’73.

Please join me in welcoming Dave & Tim to their new roles at the College.

Sincerely,

Rob Palmarin
