Hounds Boys Soccer rebound at provincials with a big win

Coming off the heart breaking double OT shootout loss to North Battleford in the first game of provincials that pushed the Hounds to the consolation side of the draw, the Hounds rebounded with a dominating effort against Martensville, winning 11-1. Right from the opening whistle, the Hounds punished their opponent and put down their spirit taking an 8-1 lead at half. Martensville had lost to #2 ranked Sheldon Williams by one goal earlier in the day and to North Battleford by one goal the week before at Regionals. So, our boys put on a fantastic result today and will now take on Luther College in th consolation final Saturday morning. Goal scorers were Marcus Choy with 3, Xavier Scott with 2, Daniyl Tcherepenov with 2, and singles to Josh Brisebois, Yusuf Yildir, Nikita Khavronin, and Ferdinand Somda.
