Hounds win home opener!!!

The boys came out strong at the start while Melville's goalie stood his ground stopping 13 shots in the first, with #16 Brodyn Pladson scoring the first goal with help from #7 Hudson Heistad and #3 Robbie Willimason.

Shots were slightly down in the second 13 shots and the lone goalscorer of the period was #7 Hudson Heistad from #19 Carter Hudyma. 

The third period was not our best and the boys learned a lesson about not giving teams hope when they are down. The first shifts were flat which gave the Millionaires an opportunity to pressure which they hadn't really had all game. About 2 1/2 mins into the period Kaleb Hill for Melville notched their first goal of the game to make it 2-1. 6 mins later on a powerplay Kaleb potted his second of the night to make it 2-2. The boys stepped up and goals from Nic Wytrychowski, Reid White and Brodie Steeves led the boys to a 5-2 win!
