National Day for Truth and Reconciliation
September 30, 2021, marked the first National Day for Truth and Reconciliation in Canada. It is a day honouring the lost children and Survivors of residential schools, their families and communities.
Students and staff at Notre Dame were honoured to spend the morning listening to and learning from Tim Poitras and Brad Bellegarde, who each shared their residential school experiences.
