Mihalicz Hired As Head Prep Men’s Basketball Coach

The College is happy to announce Zachary Mihalicz as our Head Coach for our Hounds Prep Men’s Basketball Team. Zachary will begin his new position June 7, 2018.

This past basketball season, Zachary was the head basketball coach at Campbell Collegiate High School in Regina, were he coached Campbell to their first city championship in five years, as well as qualifying for Hoopla. Zachary is currently with Basketball Saskatchewan Inc. as the head coach of the U16 provincial team for the 2018 summer. Prior to these roles, Zachary played a season and a half for the University of Regina Cougars before a career ending injury in 2015. Zachary remained on the team in a student assistant coach role for the remainder of the 2015 season into the 2016-2017 season. Prior to his university career, Zachary grew up in the United States, and played high school and club basketball in Colorado.

With Zachary working towards his NCCP Coaching Certification, his prior coaching and playing experience, he will provide a strong skill set that is needed for the Head Prep/Post Graduate Basketball Coach at Notre Dame.
