Notables 
  • B.A. in Business from North Dakota, where he was a part of the 1982 NCAA National Championship team
  • Following his drafting by the Edmonton Oilers in 1981, he played almost 100 NHL games in the 1980s, scoring 35 points for the Oilers, Minnesota North Stars, & Hartford Whalers.
  • Played for the Canadian National Team from 1986-1988, including the 1988 Calgary Winter Olympics, in addition to 12 seasons in Europe (mostly Germany’s DEL)
  • Won the 1982 NCAA National Championship while at UND
  • Has held an Investment Advisor positions at various respectable firms across Canada and was awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal in 2012 and the Golden Jubilee of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II Commemorative Medal in 2002
  • 2017 Notre Dame Alumni Volunteer of The Year
