Built in 1960, this building was dedicated by Lester B. Pearson, a Prime Minister of Canada and winner of the Nobel Peace Prize. Father Murray chose to name this classroom facility after his former classmate, Father Henry Carr. Carr Hall consists of four general purpose classrooms, a staff room, the offices of the principal and student records and a guidance/career counseling office. Attached to the original structure is a former Armed Forces barrack block which now houses the yearbook/special project work areas and offices. Featured in the hallway of Carr Hall are the Student Honour Roll and Academic Award boards. These awards are given and posted annually for students excelling in the various disciplines studied at each grade level.
