Athol Murray Centre

Built in 1965, the AMC served as the original ice rink of the College prior to the construction of the Duncan McNeill Arena in 1985. A smaller steel structure was added to the main building of the AMC in 1982 through a generous donation from Imperial Oil, and housed a weight-training room and a storage area for hockey equipment. Further renovations in 1985 converted this area into a fine arts centre for drama, music and choral programs. It is currently the home base for the Notre Dame Canadians Swing choir.

In 1992, a Save the Athol Murray Centre project was successful, facilitating the installation of a new roof and structural supports.
