A very special artist was featured last week in the archives. Our own "Mr Notre Dame" Frank Germann displayed his amazing paintings, carvings and sculptures for the all of the Hounds and guests to view.

Frank has been a Hound since he was 14 years old! Frank has served as a teacher, coach, Principal and registrar during his 70 years in Wilcox. The only time Frank was not at ND was when he served in WWII.

Frank proudly stands beside a display of his work. Now retired, Frank is a fixture at the arena in the winter and he frequently takes his walks around the Notre Dame campus.

Frank coached baseball for 40 years at Notre Dame. His love for the sport is obvious in this sculpture of the '96 World Series.

Frank's other loves included football and of course his beloved Notre Dame Hounds football team! Thanks to Terry McGarry, Jenelle Sherven and Frank Germann for sharing this amazing artwork with the Notre Dame family.

Our Rugby girls toured Alberta last weekend. They visited Medicine Hat, Lethbridge and Raymond.

Our Sr Girls Fastball team loaded the bus last weekend and headed south to Devil's Lake, North Dakota, USA.

The ladies participated in a 10 team tournament, went undefeated and came home with the championship!

Norah, Janelle and Heidi were interviewed by a local radio station!! Their teammates stayed on the bus to listen to their interview on the radio - well done ladies!
