 On Saturday June 19th Athol Murray College of Notre Dame held Graduation Day for the Class of 2010. Our day begins at St. Augustine's church. Ushers James and Troy met guests as they arrived.

 When our graduates' guests entered the church they were greeted by beautiful music provided by members of our graduating class under the direction of interim music teacher Josh Campbell '97.
|
 Brittany welcomed family, friends, staff and special guests to Graduation Mass 2010. She also introduced them to St. Augustine's church and its' history.

 The Prayers of the Faithful were wonderful and the grads included were Meagan, Craig, Siera, Nick, Tamber, Zach and Johnnie.

 Hounds Patrick, Aisha, Samara, Nick, Roberta, Gabriela and Catlin presented the gifts. The gifts included bread, winde, a textbook, artwork, a book bag and sports equipment. Catlin's Telus Cup gold medal was included.
|
 Classically trained Patricia's Ava Maria was simply amazing. A very stirring and emotional performance for 5 year Hound Patricia.

 A special thank you to Notre Dame's "Prayer Warriors" Sister Clem and Sister Vicky. We are truly blessed to have their presence and spirit with us daily.

 After Mass it was off to Kenney Hall for the 2010 Commencement. Crystal and Brody begin the ceremonies with a Tribute to Mom & Dad.

 The Class of 2010 is ready to make their grand entrance in front of family, friends, faculty, staff and special guests. Askar and Will led the way!

 Graduate and 5 year Hound Elaine beautifully sang our National Anthem.
|
 Notre Dame's Chancellor Gerald Maier '46 addressed the graduates and those in attendance to open the Commencement.
|
 President Rob Palmarin welcomed the assembled group and introduced our very special guest speaker.
|
 Tim Johnson was a member of ND's Class of 1980, is a Board of Regents member and a Hound Dad. His stirring message was, "Dream your dream, make it a great dream and dream it greatly."
|
 Principal Eric Lockwood was our Master of Ceremonies and he began the Academic Award presentations.
|
 At the conclusion of the Academic Award presentations Patrick was presented with the Overall General Proficiency Award & the Governor General's Medal. Congratulations Patrick!
|
 Special Awards were then presented. The Mother Teresa Service Award was presented to Samara Vigneron and former Notre Dame first lady & staff member Lynne Kenney and her late husband Martin Kenney.
|
 The SRC Award winners were Mitchel, Chandler & Aisha.
|
 Megan received the female Drama Award.
|
 Male and female Athletes of the Year Nick & Meagan were the next to be honoured.
|
 Houseleaders of the Year for 2010 were Carson & Lindsay.
|
 Mitchel accepts the Murray Renouf Maynard Leadership Award.
|
 Four Year Hound Carson was selected by his peers to represent the Class of 2010 to deliver the Valedictory Address. He did an amazing job and he received a standing ovation.
|
 The 2010 President's List was then announced. Meet the 2010 President's List.

 From the List two outstanding members of the Class of 2010 were selected as the President's Cup Winners. Matt & Elaine are leaders with respect to ND's three pillars - mind, body & spirit.

 The students and staff were ecstatic that the 2010 Banquet was once again back at Notre Dame! As guests arrived at the beautifully decorated Duncan McNeill arena they viewed Mary's amazing show that highlighted the grads journey at Notre Dame.

 The stage was set for the banquet and all of the festivities!
|
 The evening begins with the Grand March! Scott & Elaine were the first out in their formal attire! This is a wonderful moment for our graduates.

 After the graduates all entered the M.C.'s for the evening Matt and Elaine get the banquet under way!! They did an amazing job!
|
 Lindsay's beautiful Grace was very eloquent. We then enjoyed an amazing meal prepared by our Sodexo staff. Special thanks to Tracey and Lee!!

 After the banquet Taylor's amazing toast to Canada left the crowd both moved and inspired by our great nation Canada.
|
 Four year Hound Paul delivered a wonderful heartfelt toast to Pere, Mother Edith & Notre Dame.
|
 Mitchel's emotional toast to the staff had us all in tears.
|
 Time for President Palmarin to toast and salute our wonderful graduates.

 Brendan & Megan recite the Alumni Pledge of Graduates on behalf of the Class of 2010.

 Olivia did an amazing job of toasting the parents. Brilliant job Olivia!

 Olivia's father replied on behalf of the parents with both humour and emotion.

 The evening concluded with Elaine & Josh's Multimedia production chronicling the journey of the Class of 2010 at Notre Dame.

 Congratulations to Elaine and Josh on an amazing job with your grad movie. Elaine's tears say it all.
|
 It's hard to describe Notre Dame to people that haven't experienced it, but watching our graduates say good bye to each other every year says it all. The tears begin to swell in their eyes as their final good byes are said.
|
 The hugs get a little tighter as our graduates realize they must now leave their brother & sister Hounds . . .
|
 As valedictorian Carson said in his address, "The hardest thing about being a Hound is leaving". Godspeed Class of 2010.

 Our Outdoor Education Hounds returned safely from Machu Picchu, Peru on July 6th, 2010. Welcome home Hounds! As soon as I receive pictures they will be posted in the photo gallery.

 There was a real Notre Dame presence at the 2010 NHL Draft this past June in Los Angeles, California. Here is the view of the NHL Draft stage during the First Round.

 It was a VERY exciting FIRST round for Hounds and best friends Jaden Schwartz and Brandon Gormley. Brandon was drafted 13th and Jaden went next at 14th. The smiles on their faces say it all!!

 Notre Dame's Hockey Office Adminstrator travelled to Los Angeles with the Hounds for the big day!
|
 Proud big brother Rylan, himself an NCAA Div I Hockey Player, shares this special moment with his little brother and future teammate. Jaden will be joining Rylan at Colorado College in the fall.
