Jaden Schwartz '10 Invited to Team Canada World Jr Camp

BREAKING NEWS . . . .

The Notre Dame family proudly announces that grade 12 Hound Jaden Schwartz has garnered an invitation to Canada's World Jr Summer training camp! Jaden received the call on Thursday June 10th and we are happy to share this amazing news with the extended Notre Dame family. Jaden is a Wilcox Hound and will be graduating with his class on June 19th. Jaden will then fly to the NHL Draft the following weekend where he is currently ranked 14th overall. Jaden has previously represented Canada in the World Jr Challenge for Team West and for Team Canada at the World U-18's. Jaden has broken many of Notre Dame's and Saskatchewan's hockey scoring records including Vincent Lecavalier's & Brad Richards' Bantam AAA scoring records. In grades 9 & 10 Jaden was the quarterback for ND's Bantam football championship teams.

The 2011 IIHF World U20 Championship, commonly referred to as the 2011 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships (2011 WJHC), is the 2011 edition of the World Junior Ice Hockey Championships and will be hosted in the United States. Buffalo, New York is to host the tournament and games will be held at HSBC Arena and Niagara University's Dwyer Arena.
